Reviews for Gaja Susukino 야키니쿠
Review highlights
Based on 432 reviewsGAjA すすきの店 is frequently praised for its all-you-can-eat yakiniku buffet that offers good value, particularly with premium options such as Wagyu beef available for additional cost. The restaurant provides a convenient reservation system, including English menus and ordering via phone, making it accessible for non-Japanese speakers and tourists. Customers appreciate the variety in the buffet, which often includes not only grilled meats but also desserts and drinks, with an option to add an all-you-can-drink alcohol package. While the quality of meat, especially beef and lamb, receives generally favorable remarks, side dishes such as sushi and kimchi are noted to be less consistent in quality. Some reviews mention issues with the ventilation system affecting the dining experience. Overall, GAjA すすきの店 is recognized for its enjoyable buffet atmosphere, reasonable pricing, and accommodating service catering well to international visitors.
A hidden gem in Sapporo! Enjoy a delicious buffet with an 80-minute ordering time. Add all-you-can-drink alcohol, soju, and beer for just ¥1,000 additional. Buffet is about ¥4,500 per person. Don’t forget to lower the heat before you start your BBQ. The heat control is under the table. Buffet includes wide range cakes, ice cream, and drinks.
One of the standout features of this restaurant is the ability to make reservations through Google, which is a blessing for tourists like me who are unfamiliar with the Japanese language. For this visit, I opted for the 3,980 yen 90-minute all-you-can-eat course, excluding alcoholic beverages. However, non-alcoholic beverages were available outside, and all I had to do was scan a QR code with my phone to place an order. It was incredibly convenient for travelers like us who are not fluent in Japanese. After placing the order, the food was delivered to the table by a robot, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. The variety of options available was impressive, with a wide selection of meats, including different cuts. They also offered grilled scallops, octopus balls, salmon sashimi, and more. In terms of taste, the quality of the meat was quite good, and it didn't feel like everything was marinated in the same flavor. However, there are a few areas that I would like to criticize. Firstly, the ventilation in the restaurant was mediocre, and the smell of the food lingered in the air, making the dining experience less pleasant. Secondly, the service was quite slow. It took a good 30 minutes from the time I placed the order to receive the first item. Considering that the allotted time for dining was only 90 minutes, this delay was a bit disappointing. Despite the aforementioned drawbacks, overall, I had a satisfying experience at Gaja.
Buffet with 3300 yen including Vat and you got this kind of beef and also with the lamp (GeghisKhan ) I'm not complaining
we had “All you can Eat” on premium option, that includes Wagyu beef. thats awesome. very enjoyable. there is English Menu. we put the order through the phone. there is additional 1000¥ for alcohol drink buffet. but time go so fast as we were enjoying the food.
Standard buffet without adding premium beef and alcohol. Beef quality is ok / mutton quality is ok Side dish quality is not ok (sushi not fresh, kimchi is not tasty) Desserts are ok (almond jelly, pudding) Cooker hood is terrible
We ordered the premium buffet, wagyu was nice and the premium dessert was amazing, we got to try the horse meat sashimi too which was pretty nice as well.
NORBESA Landmark in the Susukino entertainment district The only Ferris wheel on the roof of a building in Hokkaido It would be hard to miss the huge Ferris wheel at the top of NORBESA in the Susukino district. The NORBESA is a complex commercial facility that includes more than 30 fashion and amusement stores along with a variety of restaurants. After enjoying shopping, visitors can go ride the Ferris wheel on the 7th floor. As you ride the only Ferris wheel on the roof of a building in Hokkaido, the scenery changes from the Susukino entertainment district where the facility is located to the expansive view of the streets of Sapporo. It is interesting to see a moving view of Sapporo since a Ferris wheel goes up, then returns to its original position. During the winter, it becomes illuminated with lights and is a popular destination for taking pictures.
